Granite Kitchen Backsplash

Granite as a backsplash when combined with granite as a countertop is sometimes seen and being a little bit controversial as it can be seen as too much granite.



Many people prefer to have a mixture of materials in their kitchens rather than being overwhelmed by just one type.



It is often important to make sure you have enough contrast in your kitchen so if you opt for a granite backsplash its probably better to go for a different material in the countertop.



Probably the best option is to make sure you have plenty of samples and then try and go for what you find pleasing to the eye.



Especially if you have dark cabinets and a dark granite countertop you dont want to then add a dark granite backsplash so try and get the contrast in 1 of the 3.
